Thailand has practically a lovely warm sunny climate all year round.
Thailand tourist resorts and cities can be roughly divided into 4 areas, which differ in terms of having a lovely warm sunny climate. These are South Thailand, Southeast Thailand, North Thailand, Thailand - North coast. The selection of these regions covers the most visited areas according to our surveys, on the other hand, there could be nice places to see also outside of our selected regions.
The part of Thailand with the warmest climate is Thailand - North coast, which sees temperatures of 33 °C (92 °F) to 34 °C (94 °F) during the months of March - May.
On the other hand, the climate of North Thailand is coldest with temperatures between 28 °C (83 °F) - 31 °C (87 °F) during the months of October - January.
The highest sea temperatures in Thailand could be found in South Thailand, where the sea temperature in April - June will be around 30 °C (86 °F) - 30 °C (86 °F).
The least cloudy region in Thailand is North Thailand with 81 % of sunshine a day during its sunniest months January - February.
The region with the most sun hours (without clouds) during a day is North Thailand, which enjoys 9 hours in January - April.
Thailand has the windiest region and it is South Thailand with an average level of wind 2 during November - January.
During the night and the morning, the region with the highest temperature is Thailand - North coast, which has night temperatures between 25 - 26 in the period of March - May.
Regions with a humid climate, which can mean a slightly higher chance of rain are South Thailand, Southeast Thailand.
